Plus, they're incredibly easy to make and even easier to customize. I personally make them weekly for my family as an easy go-to snack, and they’re a hit! This recipe yields enough dough for a rectangular pan measuring 23 cm x 32 cm

Ingredients

  • 345 g Softened Butter
  • 220 g Brown Sugar
  • 140 g Granulated Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 300 g Rolled oats
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 300 g All purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 & 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 300 g Chocolate chips
  • 200 g Peanut butter chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C, line the rectangular baking dish with parchment paper
  2. Cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy for about 5 mins
  3. Add the eggs one by one and mix until just combined
  4. Sift the dry ingredients together and add them to the bowl scraping down the sides as you go, make sure not to over mix
  5. Add the chocolate chips and the peanut butter chips or whatever mix-ins you choose
  6. Place the batter in the prepared pan and bake for 25 mins; this recipe makes quite a thick batter and it should be golden brown before you take it out of the oven, it may need more time depending on your oven
  7. Wait for it to cool and you're ready to enjoy!
